My mission: to allow the unique voice of each student to shine through...

There is no "one size fits all" when it comes to learning music.  I use a varied curriculum which addresses the needs, interests, and ambition of each individual.

Private lessons in Voice, Piano, Songwriting

Heather Platts earned a degree in Music Composition from the University of Idaho, with an emphasis in piano performance.  She has performed throughout the western United States as a solo performing songwriter and in the music duo, Crazy Love, with guitarist and fellow performing songwriter Bruce Michael Miller.  She has recorded two solo albums of original material.  Her duo, Crazy Love, recently released "The Big Give", an album of original songs written about the experience of donating a kidney to Bruce in 2019.

Heather began teaching private and group lessons in 2018 with Wakefield Music Academy in Twin Falls.  Heather Platts Voice and Piano Academy in Twin Falls was established in 2020.  Heather recently became accredited in the Harmony Road Music Course, and is now teaching both private and group lessons using this exciting and engaging music method.

Harmony Road is an exciting, comprehensive music program, designed to help children discover the world of music through motivating materials and activities which develop the whole child.

Hearing...feeling...moving...singing...creating...sharing...and playing music...children absorb and store musical patterns and concepts for enjoyment and growth in all their musical endeavors.

Harmony Road Courses are specifically designed for each age group (age 3-11) and offer the added benefit of group classes.

Heather's Harmony Road classes offer the fun of group learning in a small, comfortable setting.  Each class consists of a maximum of four students, allowing for the perfect balance of group and individual learning.

For older beginners to adult, The Piano Street Course is a fun and engaging piano class for ages 12 on up.

Harmony Road courses are taught one on one, in pairs, or, ideally, in a group setting of 4 people.
